What is a lifetime discount?

A lifetime discount applies to the first year of your policy and all subsequent years when you renew your policy. It’s different to a first-year discount, which only applies when you first purchase your policy.

It’s great knowing that your discount is locked in for the lifetime of your policy. For as long as you renew your policy and you stay with William Russell, you’ll keep your discount.

Even better, making a claim on your policy doesn’t affect your entitlement to the discount.

Why are we offering lifetime discounts?

Insurance premiums have been rising steadily for the past few years thanks to medical inflation. That’s the cost of healthcare, which is rising due to advances in medical technology (e.g., cancer screening and treatment).

While these advances are great, they’re very expensive. The cost of such treatments drives up insurance premiums. On top of medical inflation, the cost of living crisis has affected people’s wallets and put a strain on the budgets they allocate for insurance.
